Elder Pamela R. Smith

Elder Pamela Re’Nell Smith, commonly known as Pastor P. R. Smith, is the pastor of Biblical House of God Church–Cayce in the city of Cayce, SC. After being born in Allendale, SC, Elder Smith moved with her family to Brooklyn, NY and Varnville, SC before settling in Cayce, where she graduated from Brooklyn-Cayce High School in 1989. Elder Smith is the lovely wife of Bro. Nakia Mark Smith of fourteen (14) years. They have a beautiful daughter, Shi’Onya Ne’Cole Williams.

After years of Christian education at New Hope Baptist Church of Varnville, Elder Smith made her spiritual home at the Biblical House of God Church–Cayce in 1989 and has served under the leadership of National Bishop Alfonso Jackson, Bishop David Randolph, and Elder Mary E. Williams. During her tenure, she has served in the Children’s, Youth, Music, Women’s, and Pulpit & Pastor’s Aid ministries, as well as in various administrative and support roles in the church. She was baptized into the Lord’s Church in 1998 by Elder Mary E. Williams.

Under God’s direction, Elder Smith accepted the call of God upon her life for ministry and preached her initial sermon entitled “I Wouldn’t Miss It For The World” on March 3, 2007.  After many years in ministry, she was ordained as a minister of God in the National Biblical House of God Fellowship Church, under the leadership of Elder Mary E. Williams and National Bishop Leroy Middleton, Jr., on June 23, 2018. She has furthered her spiritual studies through coursework with the City of God Ministries of Charlotte, NC.

After the death of Elder Mary E. Williams in November 2020, Elder Smith was ordained as an elder and appointed as the pastor of the Biblical House of God Church-Cayce on February 20, 2021 by National Bishop Leroy Middleton, Jr.

In addition to her spiritual work, Elder Smith served in the United States Army in Ansbach, Germany and in Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf War and holds dual Associate’s degrees in Business Management and Business Marketing from Midlands Technical College, as well as other certificates from Midlands Technical College and two (2) diplomas from Ashworth College. She currently co-owns Le’Joyce Enterprises, a box truck and event planning company, with her husband, Bro. Mark.

Above all, Elder Smith is a woman who loves the Word of God and lives her life by the words of Psalm 27:13-14, “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord”
